Fun OBX Springtime SurfPosted on March 27th, 2008 by brian_maglietta | | 218 views |

This is Jeff Myers, Mike Schirmer and Justin Shub making the most of a fun headhigh swell last April. Looking at these shots makes me can’t wait to get back shooting on the beach and getting some nice waves again on my favorite beaches of the OBX after being stuck in a cubicle all winter. I am not telling you where it is, and its not too hard to find. Just follow the cars parked off the side of the road down south of whalebone junction. Oh and another thing, make sure you don’t get stuck in the sand…..that is unless you got a 4×4. Enjoy.

Posted by brian_maglietta Hey Surfers! I am Brian Maglietta a rare breed of surf and action photographer from the Metro Washington DC area based in Virginia. I do have a love for photography and web design, and thought it would be fun to combine the 2 professions. I started taking pictures back in high school and really got into it after I got my first published shot in 1996 from Ocean City, Md for Eastern Surf Magazine. Action based Photography is still a side project with my full-time job, but it is a strong passion of mine. I am a senior surf photographer for Eastern Surf Magazine , and a contributor to SURFER and Longboard Magazine, and have had my photos on the the cover of East Coast Surf Info Center (surfing web site), and Surfrider's web site. I also run a great surfers forum named Worldwide Surfers and we have some local surfboard shapers on there, surf instructors, writers and photogs for the surf magazines you read and of course surfers from all parts of the world. OZ, Peru, California, South Africa and my local breaks in the Delmarva area. Check out the link and join in the discussion. http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/worldwidesurfers/ If you like my photos on here you enjoy my website of photography at KillerB Photography. Thanks for stopping by and checking me out. More cool photos coming soon. http://www.killerbphotography.com |
